About The Event

We are facing uncertainty more than ever! Such as the current COVID-19 situation, the rise of localism and gig economy, the development of IoT, artificial intelligence, surveillance system from droids to bio sensors and so on... what we are experiencing in the past can no longer give us hints to forcast for the future (AI can probably do better thanks to the availability of big data and machine learning). According to the article of the World Economic Forum (WEF) titled “3 vital skills for the age of disruption” in Sep 2019, Learning Agility had now became one of the most critical skills in the turbulent age or VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. Having the ability to learn quick and be adaptive became vital to sustain!

It is pretty clear that Learning Agility has a robust relationship with both leader performance and potential but this is not a common topic we see and we do not know clearly on what exactly it is about? Whether it is cognitive ability? Is it a learned behaviour or in-born traits? Could it be a kind of competency? Is it possible to be stimulated by a growth mindset? To the further extent, HOW COULD WE MEASURE it?

In this free webinar, we had invited Don Chan (Group Training and Development Manager of Café de Corel), to share his insight on how talent capability of learning could possibly be measured. Don is a passionate professional in talent growth & leadership development domain and is certified in Burke Learning Agility Inventory*. He has been working as people and OD professionals for more than 13 years with sizeable companies in various industries including property management, retailing, engineering, telecommunications and catering industries.

*Burke Learning Agility Inventeory differentiates the talents’ learning capability, a reliable and critical information supplementary to performance-potential matrix for people development expert to manage talent.
